Award-Winning Training. As Featured In

6 weeks that cover more than most training centres teach in their entire program. Your dog walks on a loose leash by the end of session one.
Loose-leash walking in heel position
Leash pulling is addressed from the very first session
Sit, down, place, and stay commands
Under real-world distractions, not just your living room
Mild reactivity management
Walk past other dogs without losing it
Impulse control and focus
Your dog looks to you instead of reacting to everything
Structured walk protocol
Walks become enjoyable instead of stressful
Calm settling at home
Your dog learns to relax and switch off, not pace and whine
Reliable recall under distraction
Your dog listens outside despite dogs, people, and noise around them
Every Level 1 graduate takes this test. Real dogs, real distractions, real results.
Most places distract the dog or manage symptoms. We fix the actual problem, and deliver results other companies charge 3–4x more for.

Full off-leash control that finally gives you complete freedom. parks, trails, patios, anywhere. E-collar training, bulletproof recall, and obedience under heavy distraction, ending with a graduation hike where your dog proves it in the real world.
E-collar introduction and training
You purchase the e-collar separately. we teach you exactly how to use it humanely and effectively
Bulletproof off-leash recall
Your dog comes back on command, every time, even mid-sprint toward a squirrel
Obedience under heavy distraction
Sit-stays and down-stays while other dogs, people, and chaos happen around them
Distance commands
Control your dog from 30+ feet away with verbal and e-collar cues
Off-leash graduation hike
The final session is a real trail hike where your dog proves off-leash reliability in the wild
Level 2 ends with a scored test that covers everything: recall under distraction, distance commands, e-collar obedience, and handler control. You need to pass to graduate.
The final session is a graduation hike. a real off-leash trail walk with the entire class. Your dog walks off-leash alongside other dogs in an uncontrolled environment. This is where it all comes together.
What Level 2 graduates can do:
Prerequisite: Must pass Level 1 or pass an assessment. Level 2 builds directly on the foundation. there are no shortcuts.
Requires Level 1 or assessment.
What serious owners choose, and why results stick
Level 1 alone gives you the foundation, but Level 2 is where e-collar, off-leash recall, and real-world reliability happen. Stopping at Level 1 is like learning to drive but never leaving the parking lot.

We did Level 1 and 2 with our Australian Shepherd Joey. He used to pull on leash and we had zero confidence in his recall. After the first session his walking improved immediately. Now we fully trust him off leash even with lots of dogs around. Most of our walks involve off leash time and we live downtown. Worth every penny.

Our mini Aussie puppy was lunging and barking at everything. dogs, people, leaves. Level 1 and 2 was literally life changing. At 1 year old she is non-reactive, fully off leash with perfect recall. She used to run away from her harness and now she gladly puts her prong collar on. We get constant compliments on her training.

Completed both Level 1 and Level 2. Anesh is amazing as well as all the other trainers. I am now 100% confident with my dog being off leash after completing Level 2. My dog's recall is now solid. They really set your dog up for success. 10/10 recommend.

Anesh and his team are great. Patient and effective with all types of dogs. I noticed a big improvement after our 6 week beginner course. my dog is generally quite nervous but it helped his confidence a lot and gave me the tools to keep working on it on my own. Looking forward to returning for intermediate.

We took our Doberman to another training facility before coming to K9 and was not impressed. A neighbour told us about K9 Academy and it was the best decision we ever made. My Doberman is amazing in and out of the house now. Plus they do fun photoshoots at daycare. I wish 6 stars was an option.

We adopted through Save our Scruff and enrolled right away to make sure we were set up for success. Started with Level 1 and loved it so much we continued with Level 2. Our dog has mastered many critical skills and we feel more confident training him ourselves. Confident and trustworthy dog on and off leash.

There is truly no one better. Their obedience classes changed my Doberman's behaviour. I went to another trainer before and there is just no comparing. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere or for a cheaper company. Training, daycare, boarding. every service is incredible. Best group of trainers ever.

It has been 2 years since we took their Reactivity course and we still do touch-up sessions. Willy has come such a long way. First time we ever felt heard in a training class. Anesh and his team respected our dog's boundaries and broke down his behaviour into manageable chunks. Much love to the whole team.

Thank you from our whole family
Hi team, Teddy was our first family dog and we had no idea what we were doing. Our kids (5 and 7) were scared to walk him because he pulled so hard. After level 1 both kids walk him on their own. Loose leash. Through our neighbourhood. Really appreciate that your team kept checking in on us after the course ended. That doesn't happen anywhere else. Thank you Rosa and Anesh.

Should have come here first
We took our dobe to another facility before K9. Night and day. I wish 6 stars was an option. The daycare is also amazing, she comes home exhausted and happy. Don't waste your time looking elsewhere.

Level 2 done
Our mini Aussie used to lunge and bark at everything. Dogs, people, leaves. We couldn't walk her. Level 1 fixed the leash walking. Level 2 added the e-collar and distraction proofing. She's fully off leash now at 1 year old with perfect recall. She used to run from her harness. now she puts her head into the prong collar on her own. We get stopped constantly by strangers asking about her training.

Common Questions
We hear this all the time. and it's usually the first thing people tell us. Most group programs are watered down. Ours is built to deliver board & train level results at a fraction of the cost. Watch the Level 1 test videos above. that's what 6 weeks looks like.
Everyone starts at Level 1, regardless of your dog's experience. Our Level 1 covers more than most training centres teach in their entire program. The only exception is if your dog trained with a facility we specifically approve. which is very rare.
No. It's never too late. We've trained dogs of every age. puppies to seniors. Older dogs can absolutely learn new behaviors and break old habits.
Every breed. Labs, Huskies, Pit Bulls, Doodles, Frenchies, Malinois, rescues. we've trained them all. The method works regardless of breed, size, or background.
Yes. The group setting is actually ideal for reactive dogs because it provides controlled exposure to real distractions. Our trainers manage spacing and work with each dog individually within the group. Some of our best transformations come from reactive dogs.
We'll reschedule you into another class that week so you don't fall behind. Life happens. we make it work.
